REMUNERATION: R831 394.80 BASIC SALARY PER ANNUM

PURPOSE

To coordinate projects and manage project data information within Programme Management Unit (PMU) and ensure efficient and sustainable compliance with City of Johannesburg and Johannesburg Water legislative requirements for appropriate implementation and management of Johannesburg Water Capital Programme.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate, consolidate and verify data integrity and compliance to EPWP and SMME and Project Requirements. Manage records and filing for data for ease of retrieval and audit purposes. Capture and maintain EPWP, SMME’s and other project data. Management of Service Level Agreement (SLA) information. Monitor the records of filled job cards against meters installed. Ensure timeous capitalisation of prepaid meters. Manage and reconcile meter inventory. Assess water supply data into the project area. Build an inventory for projects in construction all projects. Monitor the work activities of learnership contractors and contractors EPWP personnel. Evaluate learner contractors for inclusion into the development programme including any new programme for capacitating SMME’s. Monitor training and development programs against the set targets. Update or input to Business Dashboard Reporting (BI, SAP, IPPM, CIMMOREP, Risk, etc). Provide system support to all users. Establish project monitoring and reporting templates. Plan, direct and supervise work activities of subordinates.

Ensure performance contracts for subordinates are in place and performance reviews are conducted on time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Essential qualifications and experience:

• BTech / BEng in Engineering or Bcom/Btech in Information Management Systems

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Project management systems used implementation of capital infrastructure projects

• Experience in Project Management using software such as IPPM or SAP Project System Skills in data analytics, security, management and graphical presentation and reporting.

• Knowledge in EPWP/ and SMME development programmes.

• Have an understanding of business processes in managing and executing capital projects.

• Valid drivers licence and own transport
